The Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Center for Strategic Studies (NCSS), one of the centers affiliated with the religious authority in the holy city of Najaf, organized two cultural and social programs.

In the first part, the center’s literary department, in cooperation with the Fayy Association, held a poetry night attended by a number of prominent Iraqi poets. The event was hosted by Muhammad Al-Maliki.

In the second part, as part of the series of special women’s seminars titled “Empowering Women in Political, Religious, Developmental, Social, and Economic Fields,” the Women’s Department of the Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Center, in cooperation with the Rashid Academy for Political Development and Governance, held its eighteenth session under the theme “The Best Approach for Iraqi Women to Strengthen Candidacy and Parliamentary Representation Opportunities.”
The session featured a speech by Ms. Ikhlas Jebreen and was attended by a group of distinguished women from Najaf.
